Our story
The founders, Tang and Wu, are two serial entrepreneurs who have been lifelong friends since their university days.
Before establishing HAPI, Tang ran an advertising creative company, while Wu had been deeply involved in the fashion e-commerce sector.
They were never enamored with big brand logos. "You know, for self-made individuals like us, those premiums are not convincing," Tang mentioned. "However, when I meet clients and suppliers, I need a bag that reflects my aesthetic and commitment to quality, while also being practical and thoughtfully designed."
After conversing with independent working women from around the world, we realized they shared the same need.
The world is changing rapidly, and modern career women are no longer confined to traditional industries like law, finance, and education. The new landscape includes more entrepreneurs, content creators, artists, media professionals, and digital nomads—women who enjoy greater freedom in their work.
